Data for Good

Data for Good Certificate

A certificate designed for working professionals interested in using data to lessen social problems.

The certificate in Data for Good is focused on engaging data to share meaningful organizational stories, make informed decisions, and improve social impact. Learn alongside peers about data can be used for the good or can harm, even unintentionally. Data for good is not a default result but rather requires action to enact with thoughtful design and visualization.

Participants will have the opportunity to prepare a data visual based on their own or secondary data and workshop the visual through revisions based on peer feedback. The goal is to leave the certificate with at least one data visualization that is prepared to share on social media, or directly with organizational stakeholders.
