Accelerated B.A./M.A. Program

Accelerate your academics

Earning a master’s degree from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy is a goal of nonprofit professionals around the world. If you are a student in our bachelor’s degree program who demonstrates academic excellence and an aptitude for graduate level work, we encourage you to apply to our accelerated B.A./M.A. program.

This challenging program allows you to complete both the B.A. and M.A. programs in five years, and can save you up to one year of time and tuition.

Program requirements

  • Students submit an application to the M.A. program in their third year of the B.A. program.
  • The application requires three letters of recommendation, résumé, and a statement of purpose. Applications to the accelerated B.A./M.A. program do not need to submit GRE scores.
  • Students must have a minimum 3.3 GPA to be considered for admission. Students with a 3.3 or higher GPA are not guaranteed admission. The Admissions Committee will evaluate the entire application when considering an applicant’s status.
