Prior academic work: a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required with a minimum 3.0 overall grade point average (on a scale of 4.0). Applicants with a grade point average below 3.0 may be considered for conditional admission.

Students must take a total of 12 credit hours for the Philanthropic Studies graduate certificate, or 15 credit hours for the Philanthropic Fundraising graduate certificate.
Courses taken for either graduate certificate can be counted toward other degrees. All graduate certificate credits can transfer to the Philanthropic Studies M.A. or Ph.D. degrees.
- Transfer credits are not accepted.
- Program must be completed within 5 years.
