Integrating what you’ve learned
Every philanthropic leadership major must complete the Capstone in Philanthropic Leadership course as a culminating learning experience prior to graduation, in which you integrate your personal and professional development.
In this course, you get to examine big questions in the field of philanthropy; reflect upon the knowledge, skills, and values you have acquired and developed as an undergraduate; and express yourself as an emerging professional in the world of philanthropy.
Students compose electronic portfolios (ePortfolios) for their capstone projects. They combine what they learned both inside and outside the classroom about philanthropic leadership with their own experiences as active citizens and upcoming professionals. Through their ePortfolios, they showcase their unique identities as learners and professionals striving to make a positive impact in their communities.
