LaDaniel Gatling II is a seasoned advancement professional with over 20 years of leadership in higher education fundraising and alumni relations. As Founder and Philanthropic Advisor at GLK Philanthropy, LLC, he partners with individuals, families, foundations, nonprofits, and corporations to craft strategic giving programs that drive measurable impact. His executive roles include Vice President for Advancement and Alumni Relations at Guilford College and Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Bennett College. He has also held senior roles at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Elon University School of Law.
A recognized thought leader and educator, LaDaniel also serves as a faculty member at The Fundraising School at the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, teaching courses on effective fundraising strategies and donor engagement. He holds a Master of Arts in Philanthropic Studies from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University.
