The tour is intended to spark a national movement to increase dialogue with and engagement of youth in addressing diverse community issues.
Team Kids empowers young people to change the world and educates and inspires them to become responsible, socially conscious citizens. It gives them the chance to improve others' lives today and encourages them to become the next generation of compassionate leaders and philanthropists. It increases confidence by emphasizing their importance to society and ability to make a difference regardless of age or socioeconomic status. Team Kids has worked with over 70,000 students in Orange and Los Angeles Counties, Calif. and Arlington, Va.
