Timelines:

  • Abstract Submission Deadline: August 30, 2024 (New)
  • Notification of Acceptance: September 7, 2024 (Updated)
  • Full Paper Submission Deadline: October 1, 2024
  • Symposium Date: October 14-16, 2024

Submission Guideline:

Please submit your 1000-word abstract, which should detail the methodology and main findings of your paper. We welcome submissions for oral presentations. All abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific committee.

Publication Opportunities:

  • Selected papers will be considered for publication in a special issue of the Journal of Muslim Philanthropy and Civil Society and Journal of Muslim Humanitarianism published by the prestigious Indiana University Press.
  • Selected papers will be considered for publication in an edited volume on Muslim Philanthropy in Contemporary Society by an academic press.
