Kimberly Conway Dumpson, JD, CFRE
As a lawyer and fundraising executive with a passion for philanthropy, service, and the empowerment of nonprofit organizations and the communities they serve, Kimberly Conway Dumpson, Esq., CFRE, brings a fresh perspective to her work in the nonprofit sector. Kimberly serves as Vice President for Advancement at the University of Massachusetts Amherst Foundation, where she plays a pivotal role in the Foundation’s $600M campaign to support the university's highest aspirations.
For more than two decades, Kimberly’s broad spectrum of roles—attorney, executive director, frontline fundraiser, board member, adjunct professor, consultant, and philanthropist—has provided her with a deep grasp of every facet of nonprofit leadership and governance. Skilled at building and motivating high-performing teams, Kimberly has been a valuable thought partner for nonprofits and their boards, guiding mission-centric, strategically-focused plans with lasting impact.
She is the former chair of the Community Investment Committee of the United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore and has served on the local boards of recognized nonprofit organizations such as the YMCA and Rotary International.
Kimberly earned her law degree from Ohio Northern University and her bachelor’s degree from Towson State University.
