Jessica Weaver, MA, CFRM
Accomplished philanthropic strategy consultant for corporations and nonprofit organizations, Jessica Weaver is the owner and principal consultant of Weaver Philanthropic Strategies, in Austin, TX. For more than 25 years, Jessica has been serving regional, national, and global organizations with proven leadership in strategic planning, fundraising assessment and strategy, executive leadership development, and corporate social impact strategy.
Prior to Weaver Philanthropic Strategies, Jessica’s career included roles in financial and management consulting with a global public accounting firm, specializing in financial services, and human resources, with the last 10 years focused on corporate governance and fundraising strategy.
Jessica has a personal and significant commitment to civic engagement. Jessica is currently a member of several philanthropic leadership organizations in Central Texas, including a women’s giving circle and a nonprofit that provides programming, education, and network building opportunities for a more diverse and inclusive nonprofit sector. Jessica serves in board leadership of the community foundation, a regional theatre, and a premier civic leadership program where she most recently served as the chair of the board.
In addition, Jessica served as a volunteer capital campaign chair, overseeing the successful completion of a $20 million campaign, and was elected to past board leadership appointments at her local public education foundation, two regional children’s museums, and a national nonprofit organization that provides comfort, care, and support for families with sick children.
Jessica received her Masters of Philanthropic Studies at the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University which followed a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of San Diego. Jessica has also received post-graduate credentials from BoardSource and The Fund Raising School.
