Andrew Lonsbury
Andrew J. Lonsbury is the owner and lead consultant for Lonsbury & Associates LLC, a nonprofit consultancy based out of his hometown of Minneapolis, MN. Through his consulting work, Andrew helps organizations maximize opportunities by better articulating impact and values in ways that resonate with donors and prospective donors.
Prior to consulting, Andrew served as Vice President of Advancement for Urban Ventures, a faith-based organization in Minneapolis. There, he led a successful $10 million capital campaign and, over the last two years of his tenure, helped the organization double annual giving to over $4.5 million each year. He has worked and served on the Board of Directors for various organizations and churches and has altogether personally solicited and raised over $50 million during a ten year period.
Andrew received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Minnesota and his Master’s Certificate in International Leadership from the University of St. Thomas (UST). He has also taught courses on philanthropy as an adjunct instructor in UST’s Executive Education -Fundraising Certificate Series and was consistently rated as a top instructor.
When outside of the office and classroom, Andrew likes to spend every minute he can going on adventures with his wife – Claire – and their two boys - Jack and Knox.
