Arts and Philanthropy: A Transformative Dialogue with Mariko Silver
Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy in partnership with Newfields: A Place for Nature & Arts will host Dr. Mariko Silver, President and CEO of the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts on November 10th.
The event will be held from 4:30-5:30 p.m. ET and check-in will begin at 4 p.m. Registration is requested and the presentation is also available via Zoom.
Silver will discuss the dynamic relationship between the arts and philanthropy, exploring how these two worlds intersect to create impactful cultural and social change.
Prior to her role with the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, she was President and CEO of the Henry Luce Foundation and served as the president of Bennington College. Silver is an elected fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and of the National Academy of Public Administration. She serves on the boards of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art.
