MPI provides a platform for leading scholars and practitioners of Muslim philanthropy to share knowledge, present original research, and offer fresh perspectives on emerging trends in the field. MPI thus serves as a hub for thought leadership, intentionally bridging academia and practice while convening diverse voices to exchange insights, challenge assumptions, and strengthen the sector.By hosting webinars and symposiums, MPI deepens understanding of Muslim philanthropy while advancing evidence-based conversations that inform practice and inspire social action.
A cornerstone of this work is MPI’s annual signature event, the Symposium on Contemporary Muslim Philanthropy and Civil Society, which has been held each year since 2017 in partnership with a wide range of collaborators.
