Under his leadership, the foundation strives to create systems and ecosystems that disrupt cycles of inequality—offering hope, resilience, and sustainable pathways for current and future generations.
Drawing on twenty years of business and leadership experience gained in his family’s manufacturing enterprise, Mateen brings a strategic, solutions-driven perspective to the nonprofit and Philanthropic sectors. He has served in advisory and board roles across numerous cross-sector organizations including CAIR Philadelphia’s Executive Advisory Board, contributing guidance informed by both corporate acumen and a deep commitment to community impact.
Mateen holds a master’s degree in executive leadership and strategic management from Penn State University and a certification in High Impact Philanthropy from the University of Pennsylvania, equipping him to approach philanthropy with both vision and discipline.
