Youth Philanthropy Changemakers Summit

The Inaugural Youth Changemakers Summit will be hosted on the IU Indianapolis campus June 12-15, 2026. This summit will bring together youth philanthropy organizations from across the country to learn how to “Put the Fun in Fundraising”.

This summit will provide a national convening space for youth philanthropy programs. We will offer separate tracks for youth changemakers and their advisors. Youth attendees will participate in skills-based workshops that will prepare them for hosting a giving day in their own communities. In addition, they will participate in a networking event and The Amazing Race for Good! Advisors will learn about best practices, resources, fund raising and more!

We decided we wanted to provide a multi-day conference on campus that includes both high school students who are in youth philanthropy programs around the country as well as their leaders.

Some of the highlights of the conference include student-led panels, youth philanthropy awards, TED-style talks, fundraising workshops, and participation in The Amazing Race for Good, an interactive activity that teaches how philanthropy can be applied to careers. In addition to the summit, LFSOP will host a pre-summit social event at The Fowling Warehouse.
